A feed that ends
The weather is one small line at the top: how many people near you are feeling it today. Under it, the moments people nearby shared, newest first, and then it stops. Some moments carry a small resonance line of their own, once enough people nearby have shared the same thing. No scroll that never ends, no ranking deciding what you see.
One line, and only if you feel like it
Pick a kind, write a line, add a picture or a song if you want one. A picture is checked on your device before it goes anywhere, stripped of its metadata, and it disappears with the moment. Your mood is typed here, never read from your health data.
Yours, and the people who felt the same
Your own moments while they are live, the people you have quietly recognised, and the two buttons that matter: delete this moment, and delete everything I have ever shared. A Same here reaction is private; only when it is mutual do you both get one calm note.
What Rayzil refuses to do
The kindest features are the ones that are not there. These are locked, not roadmap.
Never
- No follower counts, no likes tally, no leaderboard.
- No ranking. The feed is finite, in time order, and it ends.
- No comments, no replies, no free-text reactions.
- No profiles, no bios, no avatars, no direct messages.
- Nothing kept past a day. Moments, pictures and songs expire together.
- No ads, no tracking, no re-engagement pushes.
Always
- Two kind reactions: Same here and Me too. Nothing else can be sent.
- Block is private and permanent. It survives relaunches and works both ways.
- Report with four clear reasons: Not kind, Spam, Not about today, Something else.
- Every photo is screened on your device before it is shared, by our own check and by Apple's on-device check. Nothing is scanned on a server.
- One calm notification, only when a Same here is mutual. Never a nudge.
- The weather is one small line at the top, a backdrop to the moment, never the point.

What leaves your phone
Your moment, its picture or song if you added one, a coarse area, the day, and one small signal that you are feeling the weather. That is the whole list.
What never does
Your health data, your precise location, your contacts, your name. Rayzil does not have a profile to fill in, so there is nothing to leak.
What you control
Delete any moment while it is live. Delete everything you have ever shared, in one tap, from the You tab. Block anyone, forever, privately.
One honest limit: like any app built on iCloud, a moment carries the system's internal record of who created it. That is why nothing on Rayzil lasts, and why deletion is one tap. Read the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Rayzil a social network?
- No. Rayzil is the rest of the people on your street, under the same sky. It is a village: mixed age, place first, the same people showing up again, unequal on purpose, public-ish, and slow. There are no followers, no profiles, no ranking, and nothing here is built to be checked twice a minute.
- Who sees my moments?
- People in your coarse area, on the day you share. Rayzil never shows a name, a profile or a precise location, only your moment. Anyone you block never sees you again, and you never see them.
- What happens to a photo I add?
- It is checked on your device before it is shared, stripped of metadata, downsized and attached to that one moment. When the moment expires the photo is gone with it. Rayzil keeps no copy.
- Do I need Weather Happiness to use Rayzil?
- Rayzil is built on the same foundation and signs you in with the same iCloud account, so if you already use Weather Happiness there is nothing to set up. Rayzil also works on its own with just an iCloud account.
- What does it cost?
- Rayzil is free. The only purchase is Verified, a one-time mark for $2.99 that shows a moment came from a real, verified person. One purchase, no subscription. Reactions, the feed and everything else never depend on it.
- When is it available?
